  • Strength. We imported browser-use 0.13.11, which is built for agents that open pages, click, and type.
  • Weakness. You bring your own browser and model, and the docs bill cloud stealth browsers separately from the library.

Open-source Python agent that controls a browser. We imported the package locally; no model call.

Browser Use is a Python agent for driving a browser. We installed browser-use and imported Agent. We did not sign up, pay, or call a model. Docs mention separately billed cloud browsers; local use still needs your own browser and model keys.

Best for

  • Agents that need to open pages, click, and type
  • Python projects that can bring their own browser and model

Not ideal for

  • Jobs that only need an HTTP search API
  • A no-code hosted agent with no local setup

What we checked

Smoke-tested means we ran a local install or import in an isolated environment. We did not create an account, pay, or call a model.

Hands-on: pip install + import browser_use; from browser_use import Agent (browser-use==0.13.11). No account, no payment, no model call.

Install/import only; no API key, no LLM invoke, no signup.
